Hi, I'm Carrieona — wife, mama, and certified doula.
My journey began during my first pregnancy, when Abba Yahuah placed a deep passion for birth on my heart and my husband encouraged me to walk in it. That love and faith carried me through my own free birth, and now I help other women feel supported and at peace on theirs. 💛

Do you incorporate herbs into your doula practice?
Yes! My approach to birthwork is deeply rooted in herbal wellness. I offer guidance on safe, nourishing herbal teas and topical remedies that can support you during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. From red raspberry leaf tea for uterine health to soothing balms for healing — I blend traditional doula care with the gentle power of plants. All recommendations are personalized to your needs and safe for you and baby.
When should I hire a doula?
Ideally during your second trimester, but I welcome you at any stage of pregnancy. Even if you're in your third trimester or early labor, reach out — I'll do my best to support you.
Do you work with all birth settings?
Yes! Whether you're planning a home birth, hospital birth, or birth center delivery, I'm here to support you wherever you choose to bring your baby into the world.
What if you're unavailable when I go into labor?
I limit the number of clients I take each month to ensure availability. In the rare case of an emergency, I have a trusted backup doula who shares my values and approach to care.
Do you accept insurance?
Some insurance plans and HSA/FSA accounts cover doula services. I'm happy to provide an itemized receipt you can submit for reimbursement. Let's talk about what works for you during our consultation.
